Themed Dinner Parties are so much fun!
The ambiance, the spirit, and best of all the intention!
The smiles in this photo share so many stories. Stories of celebration and tragedy, but most of all friendship.
When we gather, we gather to commune, to share, and to uplift.
This is the mission of Intentional Gatherings with Origins of Peace.
“We are intentionally designing a convening that will capitalize on the fact that we have all of you — the experts — in one room. At the Summit we’ll connect across boundaries to ignite dual sparks of creativity and purpose. We will spend our time learning from one another and actively designing solutions for how we tackle some of our communities’ largest challenges, together”.
Last month, the Wellbeing Summit was held in Charlotte, NC. I had the honor of being invited as a local maker, to showcase my business and share my products with some of the nation’s most recognized thought leaders and change managers. It was an honor to be invited, since this was an invitation only event and it highlighted the fact that when one suffers, we all suffer, and when one has a well thought out solution……it should be shared!
Today as we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., take a moment and check on your neighbor, your friend, you family member…..and get a better understanding of what they currently need. It could be as simple as an encouraging word or as detrimental as a nice hot meal.
Whatever it is, let’s do our part to bring the world a little closer together today.
Happy MLK Jr. Day and may his spirit live on forever.

This session will serve as the kick-off event for Peace by Design 2023.
During your lunch hour we will watch Bevy Smith’s 16-minute Ted Talk, How to Discover Your Authentic Self at Any Age, followed by discussion and Q&A.
Bevy’s talk is based on her book Bevelations.
Bevy ‘s Ted Talk invites viewers along on the route of her personal transformation to reveal how each of us can live our best lives with honesty and joy.
She discusses how she repossessed her bold childhood nature to become her own brand and envision her life’s next great destination.
After Bevy’s talk, we will spend the next 15 minutes discussing the importance of goal setting and how you and I can work together to curate your personal Peace by Design Session for yourself or your crew.
The last 15 minutes of our time together is designated for Q&A.

Spiritual and Emotional trauma are just two of the often-ongoing consequences of experiencing a breast cancer diagnosis. My program, Managing Life After Crisis is a program designed to help women who have experienced crisis; heal from the experience, recover by managing resistance to healing and grow by implementing practical life strategies that promote confidence to progress through life with peaceful and positive intentions toward self.
This Sunday during the Sister Support Circle, we’re focusing on self-reflective processes that examine the relationship between trauma and healing, while utilizing creativity and peer support to create a healing framework.
Are you a breast cancer Survivor? If so, join the Circle to receive support and stay in the Circle to provide support.
The next 5 breast cancer Survivor’s to join The Sister Support Circle will receive a copy of the book, Manifesting Dreams, An Intention-Setting Guided Workbook.
