Day 2: Don’t Give In To Pressure

No pressure at all GIFs - Get the best GIF on GIPHY
Some of the worst decisions know to man have been made out of desperation and fear. It’s a well known fact that in times of crisis people will push their agenda in hopes of moving others to react.
Simply put…”You don’t have to react.”
If you’re not feeling it, don’t do it. Now is the perfect time to slow down and take your time before making a huge decision.
This is a time for self-reflection and new perspective. Your main goal is to manage the 6ft around you.
One of the most intensive decisions that I spend time on is strategizing the best time of day to make a mad dash to the grocery store…..other than that…I’m good right now.
So Here’s the challenge: Say no to the pressure. Take your time, be thoughtful and of course remain vigilant about your health.
Peace,
Melissa

Day 1: Stop Using The Term Nonessential

Emotional Wellness Tip

IMG_1526

Let’s get this 30 Day Challenge started!

There are no nonessentials. Starting today, you should eliminate that word from your conversations.

Everyone has a role to play in flattening the curve of coronavirus. Yes there are Healthcare Workers, Police, Military, Food Workers and so on who are expected to show up, practice social distancing and perform their jobs onsite during this pandemic.

Then we have those who are expected to stay home and help lessen the chance of spreading coronavirus through community spread.

Both options are essential and should be respected as such.

A person may not be required to show up onsite to perform their job but their intentional decisions to say words of prayer, maintain 6 feet from their neighbor and take additional measures to stay healthy are essential to all of us.

Whatever your role, do it with pride and know that you are making a difference.

No More nonessentials!

Much Love,

Melissa

KMPD-COVID-19_30 DAY Wellness Challenge

Most of us have orders to Stay At Home well into the month of April. The coronavirus is really out here doing the most and in response, we need to do a lot less….togetherness. Social Distancing is the number one method to mitigate the risk of contracting coronavirus. This means you purposely put space (at least 6ft) between you and your co-worker, neighbor, family, yoga instructor, preacher, teacher and everyone else.

Depeding on your personality type, this can become a real probem, real quick. My goal is to help you keep your Peace of Mind, Body & Spirit by maintaining your wellness.

It all starts tomorrow, March 31st.

Visit my site: http://www.melissaarivers.com daily at 8 am for tips and information.

I keep hearing the phrase, “we’re all in this together”, that can only be true if we all come out better than we started.

Blessings to you and your loved ones. See you tomorrow, Peace!
