Visibility

Jeremiah 23:24 “Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?” “Do not I fill heaven and earth?”

My Prayer: Dear Father, as we go about our day, help us to be mindful of our thoughts, our actions and are deeds. Remind us that you not only see our every move but others are watching in hopes of seeing Christ in us. We pray that we will benefit your kingdom and will be an example to lead others to Christ. We pray for a corporate movement of unity and love in this world and Father we give ourself to you as a willing vessel to help establish this movement. We love you and thank you, in Jesus name. Amen!

Much Love,

Compassion

2 Kings 20:4… ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.

God is a God who cannot lie. His word is set on a solid foundation that will never fade away, get old or become useless. There are so many promises and truth to His word.

Today’s scripture reminds us that God hears our prayers and sees our tears and because of this it causes Him to move. Constantly staying in prayer over a situation calls God to action. You give him permission to move in your life! When we come to the end of ourself, our own knowledge and limited understanding about a situation, God can do a new thing in you and for you!

All that God has planned for us is part of a bigger picture. Our experiences are to influence more than our immediate circle, they our part of God’s bigger picture for the good of all mankind.

In 2 Kings:4, Hezekiah had been instructed to get his house in order because he was going to die. God sent a prophet to forewarn this man that he needed to get his affairs straight because his time on earth was almost over. Hezekiah wept bitterly!

What caused God to move, was it Hezekiah’s tears, was it his reminder to God of how he had walked with him faithfully with wholehearted devotion, no. It was God’s plan to bring glory to a dead situation. Hezekiah became faith and because of this he produced faith. Not only did he benefit by having 15 years added to his life, but an entire nation benefited by seeing the healing power of God.

Today, I challenge you to become that very thing that is holding you back and taking life out of you. Call it to action and hold it accountable.

My prayer: Dear father, thank you for opportunities to profess your word and love to your people. Thank you for working in our lives and healing us, so that others can be healed as well. We thank you for seeing our tears and moving out of compassion for us. We love and thank you for your many blessings. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Make Him Great in this Place!

Had to be God

1 John 1: 3-4  (The Message Bible)

3-4We saw it, we heard it, and now we’re telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!

Today is a day of reflection, a day to look back over the past year of your life and take notice of how you’ve grown in your spiritual, personal and professional life. Take notice of the things that you used to do but have no desire to do now. Notice your point of view and your mind-set. Do you focus on the negative things in life or are you now willing to push through the negative and see a brighter picture.

Yesterday I realized a great harvest in my life, both spiritually and personally. A place that had recently been filled with strife and torment was suddenly filled with peace! As I walked around in this place of  peace and claimed  victory in it, all I could say was “it had to be God.”  Only God could have moved this grand disturbance completely out-of-the-way.

See, I am a firm believer in showing up to praise God on his appointed days. Don’t get me wrong, everyday is a gift from God but yesterday was a day of harvest. Harvest means to reap the benefit of your labor and I can really say that I reaped a grand benefit!

I witness to you, only to give you hope. Hope for peace, hope for deliverance and hope for a brighter future. Many situations can be changed but it comes through faith. One’s faith is developed only by studying God’s word and continuously praising Him. Praising God allows us to see a new picture of who we are and who we were created to be. Once you get a glimpse of that new picture, lock into it and keep it loaded in your mind!

Thought for today: “Make Him Great in this Place!”

Much Love,

Mrs. Misenheimer

Feast of Pentecost

Pentecost

Deuteronomy 16: 10 Then celebrate the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. And rejoice before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name-

The Feast of Pentecost is one of God’s chosen days to meet with him. He set aside three special occasions for His people to meet with Him and experience divine release in their life. Today at sundown, Pentecost begins and lasts until sundown tomorrow. In the Old Testament, the Israelites were commanded to rejoice in the Lord for their freedom from 400 years of Egyptian captivity. By doing so, they placed their entire family in position to receive a miraculous blessing from God.

In the New Testament, Pentecost represents the release of The Holy Spirit to thousands of believers! Fifty days after the resurrection of Christ, believers from many nations were gathered together in one place, as Peter professed a mighty word, thousands became filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues. This was a miraculous blessing from God!

Now it is your turn! You are in a pivotal moment in time. God wants to meet with and release his miraculous blessing in this season of your life. The only requirement is to acknowledge him on his divine day. He wants you to recall the countless ways that he has blessed you and your family this year. He wants you to rejoice in His goodness and give thanks for it.

The required offering is a freewill offering. Simply say “God I freely give myself away to you” and it is done. The highest offering of anything is to become it! Acknowledgement is the key and since we are filled with the Holy Spirit you can stop whatever you are doing and give Him a right now praise!

If by chance you have not received the Lord Jesus as your personal savior, simply follow these steps:

Become a Christian: Step through the Gospel
First, you can be sure that God loves you unconditionally and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).

Second, you need to admit your sinful nature to God, because this is what separates all of us from Him.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23).

Third, you should stop trying to please God through your own efforts, and realize that salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ is a gift that none of us deserves.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8).

Finally, you just need to step in and truly accept God’s gift — His Son, Jesus Christ.

I hope you take time to meet with God today, he’s waiting on you!

A Place for Miracles

Psalm 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You forgave me the iniquity of my sin.      (KJV)

In the freedom of truth God’s miracles are released. Those sins and transgressions that once held us captive, no longer have the same influence. When we acknowledge our sin to God and no longer attempt to hide it from Him, we set His good work into motion. All he needs is a willing heart and a committed spirit.

We may think that we are waiting on God to work in us, so that we can begin working for Him, truth be told, he gave you everything that you need to succeed when he first created you. He knew you before you were formed, He knew you before the foundation of the earth was set.

In knowing you, he formed the weapons that would be used to perfect you for His glory and he promised that the weapon would not prosper against you. Tell Him what he already knows. In doing this, you acknowledge His presence in your life and you trust the work that he is performing within you.

God be in my head, and in my understanding; God be in my eyes, and in my looking, God be in my mouth, and in my speaking; God be in my, heart and in my thinking….Susan Primer

As God leads you in this place for Miracles, I pray you experience a peace that surpasses all that you’ve ever known or attempted to understand. I pray that you find comfort in His unfailing love and I pray that you believe His forgiveness and accept it!

Much Love,

Mrs. Misenheimer

The Gift

Hebrews 6:17-Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.

The word of God is a powerful gift that provides insight into the very nature of who God is. His divine character is revealed within the pages. God’s word tells us that he is  determined to make is purpose very clear to all those who believe. The only way to know what God has said about a thing is to get to know Him for yourself. Allow His word to answer any questions of doubt or insecurity that you may have.

God is waiting to reveal Himself completely to you! As you are molded and shaped for His purpose, you will experience pressure and that pressure can be overwhelming. But God has promised to comfort you in those experiences. He has confirmed His committment with an oath.

Prayer: Dear Father, we thank you for leading us in those times of uncertainty. We are so grateful for your light that breaks forth in the dawn. We thank you that as the sun rises, we see your promises in the new day. Lord, on this day, we will walk by faith and not be limited by our own sight. Thank you for purifying us and making us ready for your purpose. Touch our heart and fill it with love, that we may encourage others today! We love you. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Renewal

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you, live in harmony, with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

My Prayer: Dear Father, help me to walk in love and be sympathetic to all man. Give me a desire to love others as you love me. Lord, often I fall short and desire to repay evil with evil but you have said in your word, to remain holy, be compassionate and stay humble. Lord when I do fall, I thank you for listening to the needs of my heart and removing anything that is not like you. I thank you for continuing to love me and guide my every way. On this day, I pray peace over my family and friends and I accept the inheritance of the blessing that you have laid before me. I pray that I remain usable and grounded in your word. I love you so much~ In Jesus Name. Amen!

Give Me A Break

Give Me A Break

1 Peter 2: 22-23 “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

It is often puzzling how we allow our peace to be interrupted so abruptly. One minute we’re on top of the world, everyone loves us and we are skipping to life’s beat.   The next we are being verbally attacked and insulted. I’ve often stood in astonishment as to how this can occur so quickly and why. Why do we give people control over our feelings and responses? Why do we allow the sometimes hurtful words of others to lead us into conversation that is not beneficial to either party?

As believers, we have to learn not only to watch what we say and do, we also have to watch how we respond to the words and actions of others. If we are not careful, we will no longer be seen as a motivator or inspiration to others. We start sounding like a clanging symbol all over again.

In today’s scripture we find that Jesus entrusted himself to him who judges justly. Jesus only trusted His father with his feelings and his emotions. He did not have confidence that anyone else would truly understand how he felt. When insulted, he did not sin or retaliate; he simply gave His feelings to the Lord, because he knew that only God could handle it completely.

Today, I invite you to give yourself a break! Stop holding confidence in people who you know are not capable of handling all the responsibility that you are trying to place on them.

In giving yourself this break, you free them up as well! May your relationships be grounded in love!

Much Love,

Mrs. Misenheimer

Waiting Patiently

Waiting Patiently

Judges 6:14-17

In the 6th chapter of Judges, we find an angel of the Lord sitting with Gideon under an oak tree. This chapter is very intriguing as the two engage in conversation.

The Lord’s Angel: Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”

Gideon: But Lord, “how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh and I am the least in my family.”

The Lord’s Angel: “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together.”

Gideon: “If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign that it is really you talking to me. Please do not go away until I come back and bring my offering and set it before you.”

The Lord’s Angel: “I will wait until you return”

Isn’t it funny how thousands of years later, we often find ourselves in the same predicament as Gideon? We doubt the plan and purpose that God has ordained for us. Just as the messenger of God spoke to Gideon and stayed with him until he felt confident enough to walk in it, we too have a messenger within us (The Holy Spirit) that constantly encourages us to walk in our God-given assignments.

The longer we delay our call to do God’s work, the longer we struggle through life, not realizing His complete blessings.

In Gideon’s case, he felt weak and powerless to walk in His purpose. What Gideon soon found out was that God’s spoken declaration over Him, would be manifested and he would become the “mighty warrior” that he was designed to be. A “mighty warrior is a far cry from “weak and least”. The two descriptions are absolute opposites and cannot exist in the same space.

God’s command to Gideon was to Go and Strike! Before you know it Gideon was leading his men, commanding them “do exactly as I do”, all because he began to walk in his purpose! He went from being least to being a leader and so can you!

Is God calling you to be the next teacher, business owner or inventor? Are you feeling an urge to start a nonprofit organization or go on a mission trip? Will you answer the call? Will you meet with God and allow Him to remind you of who he created you to be, not what society has labeled you.

He’s waiting patiently on you!

My prayer: Father, your people are stuck in an identity crisis. Now more than ever, we need change, we need to be reminded of who you created us to be. Lord so often we get comfortable and conform to what man wants from us, forgetting that you made us to be so much more. Lord, please give us those gentle reminders that we so necessarily need. Your words encourage and spring forth life within us. We cannot make it without you. Touch our mind and our heart and help us to glorify you by living out your word. We love you! In Jesus name. Amen!

Success 3

Part 3

I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day holiday and took time to honor our troops! Here is the final installment of my speech.

Much Love,

Mrs. Misenheimer

  1. Become Success

To all of our graduates, becoming successful is first allowing God’s word to rule and abide in you. Set your mind on pleasing Him and he will add everything else. Walk in the freedom of His love and the beauty of His Grace. Remember that God cannot lie, so what he declared in the beginning has already been established and it will be manifested.

Secondly, whether your future holds college or work, show up on time and be ready to give your best. Remember that to the human eye, reception is perception; the energy that you give off to others is the same energy that will be used to welcome you in to different academic, social and professional circles.

Be true to who God made you to be and you will become success.

And Finally, after years of operating outside of God’s will for me, I finally began to see myself as he does, … “The Me I See is the Me that I Will Be”  and those words hold true for you also. Remember as you travel your road to success, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, the Lord has called you by His name and you are the apple of His eye.

Thank you.
